Cold air intake noisier than before

I've been getting more of a growl this past week a lot more throat especially when applying harsh throttle at a slow speed.

Myself and a few others have concluded its more than likely the temperature change with hotter air doing this.

Anyone else whether clarifying or another idea?

I had an angry squirrel in my loft getting frisky with a rafter at 3am
They make a very throaty noise.

Tone changes as the air filter clogs.
Tone changes as atmospheric pressure/temp changes.
Tone chnages if you have a split pipe or leak somewhere.
