My new custom made Powerflow Exhaust!

Right guys,

After having my mate Leepickering16 be the guinea pig for the latest mod I have to say I was very very impressed with how his custom made Powerflow (what we call Pow) exhaust sounded. All for less than £200! If you've seen his videos it sounds good but nothing compared to in the flesh.

So here goes trying to explain my Pow:

I really like the "tuned" sound to Lee's Pow but when booking it in asked the guy if he could give my Pow more of a grunt as it moves up through the revs. Trying to explain sounds to people is pretty difficult as if he'd got it wrong I'd have been gutted.

Good news is he didn't! I'm blown away by just how good my car sounds now. Plus its totally different to Lee's. Its different in the way that as you start it up you get the feeling that this car is pretty angry. Press the start up and you get a nice little roar from it.

After having a play the sound gets even more addictive. I really like it as I hit the 4000rpm mark in 3rd gear, the sound really begins to pick up and gets nice and louder to the 6000rpm and maintains its grunt. The sound isn't aggressive, just nice. I'm not too good with words but happy for anyone close by to come and have a listen to get the true effect.

I'm sure once I've bedded it in a bit it'll get even better but so made up now I've got a massive smile on my oh so ginger face.

The videos really don't do it enough justice as I'd prefer someone to hear it in the flesh. So in saying that, I welcome any person on here whos interested to PM me and we can arrange for them to hear it. for the price you are getting a lot of grunt and plenty smiling, though be warned your fuel economy will diminish as the sound is so addictive. I was just cruising @ 40mph in 2nd and 3rd gears before.

Enough of my waffle. Have a listen and a look at the pics. So chuffed, its ridic!

You can have the exhaust back box sound catered to whatever you ask. Just trying to get across sounds isn't always easy. Though the guy who done both mine and Lee's did a top job I'm sure you'll agree. There will be Powerflow technicians up and down the country but this one is:

How's it sound with just normal driving? Only way I'll be getting one is if the missus doesn't hear it unless I'm going fast.

So Northern!

It sounds nice at 2000rpm and below. Anything above that then the noise gradually increases. Lee's would be more suited to the person who doesn't want their wife to know

First off, worst at saying mine's quiet *****. It really isn't quiet, but I think it's fair to say both of ours are quite tame on idle and below like 1500.

Anyway, yeah, it's ridic lad. Like...

Well chuffed with both mine and yours and it's nice to know we've both got different sounding ones.

Those vids do more justice to the ones we did lmao.

Oh and Lai, do yourself a favour and watch your video back when you're at MIMMS. OMG COULD YOU BE MORE POSH AND SOUTHERN!?

Yeah cheers guys.

I agree both Pows sound totally different. I feel like while Lees has more of a tunes sound mine just gets louder and sounds like the car has more power in the higher rev range. Lees sounds different yet stunning at the same time

By all means people can come and have a listen in the flesh.

Lai: SO SOUTHERN!!! Bet you like Southern Fried Chicken.

Just the backbox and the pipework from the backbox to the exhaust tips. Could've paid extra if wanted different tips but I like the triangles

No idea how the sound is made/adjusted it just sounds awesome. Sounds even better now I've bedded it in.

Yes it is lifetime warrant.y I will go back for free every year for the guy to do a bit of a check up on it.
