Remap Hondata Reflash

Is this available for Uk spec cars yet? i cant find any more info on it?

what is the difference? y wouldnt it work on the uk spec?

You wouldnt need the flashpro, just turn up to a tuner have it mapped and drive away

so its just a straight swap from your own ecu? is there a map already loaded on to it?

Flashpro - Handheld device that plugs into the car and allows the map to be changed in the ECU, it does come with a default map called the Group N you can upload as soon as you receive which is basically a slightly more aggressive standard map with a lower VTEC crossover. In order to get a custom or Etune you will need a flashpro.

Hondata Reflash - Turn up to a tuners, they map the car and save the map in the ECU and you drive away running that map, no flashpro required but the tuner will have used a hondata licence to unlock the ECU and allow the tuning. This is the way most other cars are tuned but we are at the mercy of hondata and this is not currently available in the EU

Hondata ECU - There is also a plug and play ECU called the Hondata Group N ECU which replaces the standard ECU and contains the Group N map. The map on the ECU can not be changed. They were a stop gap before flash pro was released really.

I think thats pretty accurate but I'm sure a more knowledgeable member will correct if not
