Honda dealers now have a fixed price for replacing the clutch just over £600 pounds for the CDTI this does not include the DMF

im just after selling my passat and am going buying a cdti ex or type s gt.my question is in the passat when my flywheel started knocking(common fault on these usally bout 50-60,000 miles) your best of replacing clutch aswel when replacing flywheel,as they reckon the clutch will at sum stage start to slip and it will cost the exact same all over labour wise(never had a clutch slip on me yet)touching wood.Is this the opposite story with the honda, your aswell replace the flywheel when the clutch starts slipping??

It would be false economy not to replace the flywheel at the same time as the clutch in my opinion.
