Oil type s 1.8 ivtec oil

hi,

my type s has done 2k miles and i need to top up oil (showing near low on the dipsitck). What is the best oil too top up with?

I'd just pop down to Halfords and get some Castrol Edge 0W30:

Cheers Potsy that is the most definitive statement for oil in the 1.8 I have seen yet, I bet the dealers dont use that though they use a 10/30 as far as I have been told
