Is there a good chance it will be able to monitor those outputs from the ECU? Yes, there probably is, as they are (I'm pretty sure) the group that make up the standard set which all ODBC ECUs tend to log. Bear in mind though that there are an extra (lot!) of things the ECU checks out which may be a lot more informative, but that this device and s/w won't know anything about. Will you be able to use it with your laptop? Probably not, unless you have an old one with a serial port, or a serial to USB adaptor which then may (or may not) be happy with this device. Will you be able to mod the ECU with this? no, I doubt it very much. Personally I would have no use for this, but given the limited use it may have, it might be what you are after. |
