Hi there Elnino, yes staying well clear of ryland Honda total bunch of muppets, there not intrested in anything plus there not carefull with your car as mine has been damaged 5 times by them, also tonnes of other things they have done, I take it to Bassetts Honda in Bridgend now they are much better also smaller and take care in the cars I think.

Is it still working fine? If you're an engineer mate, don't be afraid to fix it yourself. As long as you take notes/pics/make sure the clearances are correct, you will be able to sort it. I rebuilt a ITR gearbox and changed final drives etc. They're not that bad to do.

Get hold of a low mileage second hand gearbox and a new release bearing, 4-5 hour job to fit. That's what I'd be doing.

Hi guys it's still working fine, it's just a rumbling noise, Honda are gonna look at it again Monday, as the car has warranty I don't really want to touch it, wish me luck

Ok so here's an update on my gearbox, so three months ago I was told to drive the car it's fine with the noise, HUK can't do anything as the bearing has not failed keeping in mind i got extended warranty, so last week I picked the phone up an told HUK again, a nice lady on the phone was great she said no noise what so ever should be coming from it take it to the dealer and she will call them in person. So this morning I took it in and at 5 pm the dealer rang and said, HUK will help you out they are going to pay for 5 bearings and 5.7 hours labour, but I will have to foot the rest or the bill, my heart stopped they then told me the job is just over 2000 grand would I pay for 200 quid for the other four hours labour happy days I glad they agreed at last I am a happy lad now (case closed)
