I have this booked in for next friday, was completely sold by the videos thanks. Just a quick question the place i am using is suggesting clamping, is there any drawbacks of this over welding a replacement in?

Guess it would give the option to bolt back in, rather than cut and weld back in

Best description would be a low growl under 4000 it's noticeable but not intrusive sounds well, in vtec can't notice it over the HKS but well worth it, iPhone does not do it justice when I 1st fired it up I thought oh no 2 loud but after 10 mins I was thinking ill remove the 2 resonators also, it's worth doing and no loss in performance will get it sound checked as I'll be tracking next year so don't want it failing, for £80 I'd do 1 and fit for your pipe in return I've 1 to do still will post up when back box is done need some thiner pipe though, well worth doing

Probably more rawty I'd think I'd say the current set up with mid box removed is 30% louder with the resi's gone I'd go at least 20% more again, I've a spare back box so it won't hurt experimenting if its too loud I'll take it off and sell it, with the 2 silencers on a standard system the altered back box won't sound too out of place should have the back box altered by 3 weeks or so

Its sound quite good in the video with the silencer removed, will be different to hear iit in person though.

Do you think you would here the exhaust in vtec if you didnt have the induction kit, just wondering as i have a standard airbox.

Only slightly I believe, most sound is under 4000rpm for the sake of £50 it's well worth it though

Mine is going in on the 16th, will you have done the resonators by then?

Just wondering as im thinking of getting them removed on mine but unsure as to what it will sound like with both the silencer and resonators removed/
