Red face Reasonable expectations

Hey guys and girls,

After much thought on whether to sell my FN2R and be a good father to be, to cart the bub around. My better half has decided that she will sell her car and buy a baby cart Click the image to open in full size.
Sooo I have during this discussion been given permission to retain my manhood and mod my lil red beast Click the image to open in full size.
I am going to keep it quite simple as this is my daily but would like to know what gains I would achieve with simple mods.
I am thinking
Exhaust . Header back for now as they are expensive. Though knowing the gain for headers as well would be great.
Smoothed airbox and K&N panel filter
Hondata flash

I will also look at braided brake lines and new pads for stopping and some cosmetic upgrades.
I love my car as is but everyone needs a hobby and I would like to do some fun track days as well later on.
Any advice would be appreciated Click the image to open in full size.

Dave

Keep it simple and effective then

Eibachs + FRS will add much more fun too... and be more pleasant from what I hear.

DS2500s would probably be best with theose new lines but decent fluid is also required rbf600 or similar.
Should just survive a track day.

Scoopin seems to work well connected to oem airbox with good tubing to go with your smooth airbox and panel.
Honda panel is just as good as K&N but need replacing.

LSD would be a really good upgrade although pricey.

Thanks Relic,
I knew I for got something...the LSD.. I have really noticed corner take off and mid corner speed to be lacking without it.
At the end of the day I have the opinion that spending a some $ on a car you love is a better investment than a new car. hoddy and a few guys here in Perth Western Australia have shown me how much fun our cars can be.

Cheers
Dave

Think he wrote the book and threw it away.
Hasnt been on a long time though

I agree on making a car your own.... or it never really feels like your car.
Need money for that though lol

Forget this - "Smoothed airbox and K&N panel filter"

Exhaust, exhaust mani with cat delete and map is way to go. But be prepared to get used to it within a week lol and still want more.

Keep in mind OP that running without a cat is a $10,000 fine in Aussieland if you get caught. At least in NSW. Not sure about Perth.

Too true androo...you will cop it here in Perth as well.
I will be taking the legal approach to modding.

In that case I'd go boosted or not do anything...

Really? Bit of a price difference between a sportscat and going forced induction!
