Youve lost me!!
What are you asking?
Has yours been remapped?
Are you asking what gains can be made with a remap?
Your language/typing is not clear at all

my car is standard and i would like to know if remapping makes the car quicker than the examples i mentioned.I have seen all the threads about remapping but in the real world what does it all mean .(0-80 mph have you tried it agianst others cars and was it worth the money)

Looking tame

iCtdi puts up a good show against a lot of the "hotties" and is so inconspiuous that it sneaks up on them and you are away before they can react to its power--Dont spend the re map money---just drive clever and you have em where you want them <<<<<<

Golf GTI 0-60 7.2 seconds, Civic i-ctdi 0-60 8.4 seconds
In standard trim, the figures speak for themselves really. Having said that, my car is remapped and producing 190 bhp and 311 lb ft torque. I estimate that my 0-60 is very similar to the Golf.

Hi Leartec

I've had a tuning box fitted to my SE. I've now got 155bhp and 271 lbft of torque. What its done is beef up the mid range, so now I can acclerate easily in 5th and 6th from low rpm and overtake even quicker than before in say 3rd or 4th.

there's a thread in here somewhere in which Pottsy was able to predict various 0-60 etc times of the standard 2.2 against a remapped one (plus the 1.8 and the R)

I reckon your right - very close...
The torque is probably higher than the golf too. If you drove both back to back the Civic would probably 'feel' quicker...
