brands hatch convoy and meeting

as there seems to be a a fair number off us who have won tickets
and there has been mention off a convoy i thought i would get a thread started

as people are coming from all across the country
could you please put down where you leaving from
and if you want to stay over close to the track the night before if so could you specify what type off room you would like

Leaving from Cannock in Staffs (not far from you hypermobility..!) so could join either southbound on the M6 or southbound on the M1 after the M6 interchange.

Not doing overnight, will just be an early riser on the day.

Let's see what other people are planning to do and then make some suggestions.

Going to be doing my 4 hour trek on sunday morning from St. Helens. Its int north

Probably setting off at about 6am! If that gets us there in time or is 10am too late?

all depends on what time brekkie is

will be able to plan better once our packs arrive with all the timings
for now im just trying to get an idea for numbers and if we need to book hotels as right near the circuit wont be cheap on a btcc weekend

I was planning on driving down from Leeds on Saturday and staying somewhere nearby. I've already had a quick look for rooms and as expected many of the hotels close to the circuit are already booked, will have to look slightly further afield!!

Hotels ? Pah ! Live a little , your rear seats fold flat and there is ample room for 2 adults to have some sleep lol

hey, ill be leaving from Rugby Warwickshire so i will be going M6, M1. up for a convoy if any one is passing my way.

Ha, not sure the missus would go for that!! On the other hand if i tell her the accomodation has a minibar & mood lighting (aka 'cooled' glovebox & footwell lighting) she'll go for it?

We will defo be heading down the M6 ! If there's a firm meeting point decision made that could be where we set up camp until you guys arrive

unless I score the Saturday off in which case I may treat my good lady to a day shopping in London

Just looked exactly where Brands Hatch is.
Us northern monkeys need to remember to take loose change for the Dartford crossing. As far as I can see it's £1.50 each way.

Currently planning to hit M1 J24 at 06:15

We have a spare bedroom, if anyone wants to stay, we are about 40 miles from Brands, I suppose the fairest way would have to be a first come, PM me if you are interested, it would have to be someone who has a ticket for the parade as have to be there at 07:30.

so its going to be an early morning drive for me 3-4 am
