I have a few 'nasty' cooking knives, that I could pack and bring ...
They are not big or heavy, so I can fit them in ! ... |

Knives \ blades are not (yet) totally illegal in public, in the UK ! ...
But, you need a justifiable reason for having them, and of course carry \ transport them packed up ... Going to or from a camping trip - axe, knife, saw, machete - all legal ... Chefs (even amateur ones) going to or from a restaurant etc. - knives, cleavers. etc - all legal ... Gardners etc. going to or from a job - machetes, felling axes, etc. - all legal ... Any knive 'concealed' on your person, that is 3" or less long and does not lock - all legal ... Anything else 'concealed' on your person - illegal as hell - years in "the pokey" !!! ... |

Just thought it might put u in a position you could avoid. No problem. |

That is something I want to avoid ! - the "lower boot" is the place - nobody has ever looked in there (or even realised it was there) - and they will of course be properly boxed and wrapped ... All the camping stuff I'll have with me, will be my alibi p.s. - did you know that Scotland was seriously considering a "no statutory defense", fixed 5 years sentence law, for possessing a 'blade' in public (on your person, openly carrying, in your car, in your van or truck) ? - all chefs, go to jail - all jobbing gardners, go to jail - all builders with sharp spades, go to jail - buy your mum a new chef's knife and walk out of the shop, go to jail - walk down the road with a hand sickle to lend to a neighbour, go to jail - stand on the pavement to use shears to trim the outside of your hedge, go to jail !!! - "Al the Oily Fish" and his cronies are LUNATICS ...

I'll be coming down on Thursday evening now with Flab. Managed to get it off work
Kinda bumping this back up as need people names for the other stuff don't we. Has someone got a decent old hifi to put the awesome trance/dubstep/house music in and have it banging out of markvirgo's speakers? Also someone needs to bring FIFA 12 for Xbox. I would but I'm a PS3 guy. |
