Flashpro FN2 Tuning

FN2 Tuning

Below are a couple of dyno charts showing the results of tuning four different setups using Hondata’s Flashpro system for the FN2.

All testing was carried out on the same car in the same controlled conditions so all gains in hp and torque are relative, these should not be compared to other cars on other dyno’s as this is not relative.

The first setup is a good quality catback and air intake with no tuning at all.

The second is a good quality catback and air intake with Flashpro tuning.

The third is a good quality catback, air intake and CPL Racing Exhaust Manifold with Flashpro tuning.

The fourth is a good quality catback, air intake, CPL Racing Exhaust Manifold, RRC Intake with Hondata heatshield gasket and Flashpro tuning.

Those gains look good to me, and with CPL you know the gains and results are real with a proper figure quoted and not over optimistic dyno.

Flashpro will definately be better for car with modifications,i.e manifold, air intake.
Standard car the reflash is fine for,but if you intend to do further modifications a proper re map is in order.
Definately need a manifold ,looks to me to make the biggest diffenece out of any mod!!

torque still low to be honest which is a shame...still you'll never get it out of a vtec without a supercharger et.c.

power looks good

is the power figures recorded from the flywheel?

Unless it was like Santa Pod last weekend at the Japshow in R2 of the HKS drag series where it was an all TDi North car final.

Do agree though. RRC like PRC and RBC when mapped to the car you will see good gains over 7000rpm.
Get my Flashpro Monday and will do a stock vs reflash vs mapped on my setup as soon as I can.
