Flashpro effects on low octane fuel

In my country the fuel we use is .... well.. crap! its low on octane i heard something around 80, im not too technical so i dont know what this means. I've spoke to a couple of mates and one of them told me that when he was about to buy a chip for his evo he was warned not to go for the chip because of the low octane in our fuel.

Would this effect me with a flashpro remap?

thanks,
Eric
