group n to etune

Just uploaded an etune base calibration and i must say even before any revisions i'm pretty amazed at the difference already. makes me wish i could spend the families holiday money on mods instead of two weeks in the sun lol

***'t out for a quick spin in the car this morning before the missus needed it for work and the car pulls better out of vtec than the group n. vtec now 4350 and feels a better setting than 3800 and crossover much smoother too. Considering all i've done so far is smooth out my airbox and drop in a k+n i'm pretty pleased.

Will go custom after exhaust manifold to save doing it twice so early on. but yeah was a little worried about pushing that start button but went for a good long drive today 80 miles m/way and A roads and no negative effects

Vits cals are brilliant. If you think that's good you should try one of his custom cals. His cals rock.

After being very much an eTune skeptic, I've godda say I'm really impressed with the job Paul is doing for me. As with your experience, my base cal was very near perfect, but we're still refining it further. The car runs like I always thought it should!

Flashpro tuning. all you need to do is sign up to the site and you can then download from the calibrations section. choose the cal closest to your mods and download it

Keep in mind that those basemaps are meant for the American Civic SI.
Those maps need some extra revisions to make them suitable to our FN2.

Paul.

Of course. A custom Cal will always be better than a base Cal.

The American Civic has a different FD ratio. Also I found that I had to make some extensive sensor and setting changes to optimise the datalogs and make its info more reliable depending where you live.
Things like barometric pressure, moisture, temperature, height differences can influence datalogs.
There are some other things that can be important but I won`t tell everything.

Could that cause an issue with cruise control?

And would that be the lack of MAF sensors on Asia/US civics? i know you could run a map tune anyway.. .but just a thought.

Cruise control won`t be a problem.
The US Civic SI has MAF calibration aswell.
But a MAP calibration has certain advantages.
