Parrot 3100 and Brodit Proclip

Today I have mounted the Parrot CK3100 (with the MultiCom steeringwheel unit) and the Brodit Proclip for my HTC Touch. The screen of the Parrot is located above the rear viewing mirror and the microphone is places in the leftside uppercorner. Everything is almost invisible from outside the car and the screen of the Parrot can be easily touched if nessecary. With the MultiCom module you can controll the Parrot with the original Honda steeringwheel buttons.

The Brodit Proclip and HTC Touch holder (with charging function) is specially made for the Civic. You can install it without drilling or glueing. It can also been removed in a few seconds. I have installed a 12 Volt splitter under the sigarette ligher connection, so every wire (for my TomTom and to charge the phone) is invisible.

Checkout the new made pictures of the system.

Arrow Happy birthday to the Civic

Today my Honda Civic is one year old. A year ago I picked up the car at the dealer after waiting almost 5 months. There were a couple of changes on the car such as the parkingsensors, bluetooth carkit, speaker rings, etc. And there will be a couple more in the following years.

Even after 1 year and 32.000 km. I still have a big smile on my face when driving the Civic!

Congratulations with your first year in the New civic!
I'm just 9 days away from beeing a spaceshipowner for half a year!
And I just have to agree. I'm soo happy with it, and it put a big smile on my face too, everytime! This is the funniest car I've ever had, no doubt!
My first ever of (hopefully) many Honda's!!

Yep I have thought about colour codering the trims, but it is way to expensive (almost 1300 Euro). New rims will be the first update on the car next year in the summer. But if someone knows a good and not so expensive painter in Holland, just let me know.

The Image Pack really sets the car off! Adds a nice bit of agression to the shape!

Was looking at colour coding/Type-R kit, but looking at your's I'm just as impressed... and hopefully the price wouldn't be just as steep either!

Very nice, hope your enjoying it still!!

Leather

I was thinking to buy the Civic Hybrid, but that car doesn't look so cool as the one I now have. But I will update my car soon. Yep.... the new update on the car is a full leather interieur. At this moment I'm getting some prices and within two of three months it had to be done .

Because my car has the Blueish Silver colour, the leather will be grey (just like the interieur) with blue (almost the same colour as the car itself). Can't wait until the leather interieur is installed.

It will almost look the same as the pictures that are allready added on this website (see attached pictures). But my grey will be a littlebit darker. And maybe the doors will be blue also.

Crash..... but it is being fixed now

Two weeks ago I was standing still in front of a trafficlight. Suddenly BANG!!!!. Some idiot was not paying attention on the road and collided with 50 km/hour on the back of my Civic. Due to the crash my car was pushed forward against the car in front of me. Total damage: 6000 Euro!! When you see the pictures there was almost no damage visible on the back of the car, but after an inspection I notist that the plate in the back (to enter the space wheel space) not was going to open anymore. Damage on the back of the car was 2500 euro's. Because the car in front of me had a "trekhaak" (don't know the English word), the front bumper was puched against the radiotor. I desided to towed away the car and the dealer told me that was a right desission. Due to the crash the motor coolingfan was blocked.

Next week I hope the car is been repaired and it will be nicer when fixed. The "black" surrounding of the front- and rearbumper, skirts en wheelarchers will be painted in the colour of the car. New pictures of the repaired car will follow soon.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
Hope the car will be as good as new shortly!
It will even bee cooler with the plastic trim painted.
I assume the English word for 'trekhaak' is tow bar.
Post some piccies when it is back on the road again.

Civic is back!!

Finally I got my Civic back. It looks great again. The only thing is that they forgot to fix the bonnet. (very slighty damaged), but this wil be done in a few days. The paintjob looks great. So hereby a sneak preview of my Blueish Silver Civic with Grand Prix package and now coloured trims.
