As a show car - very, very nice

As a road car, personally I'd be hoping that I could still see red and blue flashing lights through the rear tints, or I'd be panicing about adding 'failing to stop' to the charge sheet

I have never experienced problems seeing flashing red n blue through tints. They tend to show up well in wing mirrors as well, and the Civīs got good wing mirrors.

Front Tinted windows are for show cars only. Not safe for the public highway.

Like I said still not sure about the shiny black of the wheels. I still think that silk black finish would look better or Anodised Black or Dark Titanium Aluminium.

Still a very nice motor.

Love the car and the tinted windows look fantastic. Going to get mine tinted very shortly. Gonna get the rears tinted as dark as possible and the fronts to the most thats allowed legally which the firm i use will measure it to.

Have to say I dont personally like black alloys though on any car.

I was being slightly tongue in cheek
Pointing out that looking very nice, and obviously professionally done, it is kinda screaming "hey mr policeman (or mrs policewoman) if you're having a slow night, pull me over and give me a producer / rectification notice"

As per every single Traffic Wars / Police Camera Action / Get Cops on TV show - if something 'smells odd' about a car, it increases the chance of a copper showing an interest.

Thanks for all the comments.

I had the same tint on the previous civic for over a year, and never had a problem with the cop's? maybe I was lucky (Touch wood)

My mum's car has 15% tint all round and thats black....:

Thats illigal, Its getting changed to 38% soon.

Here's another pic of the civic, the front windows is abit better in this pic, its just different angles really that makes the tint looks darker then it really is.

strangely, in that last pic of the Civ, the freonts don't look quite as illegal as before

when you are quoting %s, is that the amount of light let through, or amount blocked?

ie 15% = 85% blocked

When I say %, I mean the amount of daylight is let throught,

ie: 15% - 15% of daylight can get throught

Thanks
Dan

thought it might be - I was getting myself confused, as I've always referred to it (possibly wrongly!) as the other way round - measuring the darkness of the tint (100% being solid black, 0% being totally clear).

ta for clearing that up

HOT HOT HOT!!! best CTR I've seen apart from mine of course. I was Going to get my widows done but i hate the back tinted and front clear look. So i'll put a slight tint on the front but not have the back so dark.

Seriously Dude beware of the cops they actually peeled 2 of my mates tints off on the road side it looked a right mess they scored it with loads of lines peeled some bits off then told them to get the rest removed asap, one officer did it with his key
