Clayed my Type R......OMG.......took bloody ages lol

Hey guys

Had my Civic for seven weeks now and since it wasn't raining for a change, thought it was about time I gave her the full works. Read some where on here about claying, so though how hard can it be......bloody seven hours and aching arms HARD!!!! lol Gave it a full clean, clayed it with Auto Glym Clay Kit, then used Auto Glym paint restorer and then two coats of super resin polish. My baby is now super shiny

Looks very nice mate, seven hours in total I guess, claying should take no more than an hours tops.

Well seven hours from start to finish, but that included washing, claying, restoring and waxing

I thought you said AGSRP
You need a wax on top as AGSRP is only a cleaner wax with fillers and some sealer...Durability is not its strength

Nice job done

I easily use 2-3 days when giving my CW the full detail. But I like to take my time too

Very nice, well worth the effort. Finish it off with a nice wax/sealant now to protect all your hard work

FK1000P is a great sealant & you can use it to seal your alloys as well. Massive tim & under £20

The FK is very good, you could if you wanted apply a wax over it. Not needed though IMO.
