the rear wheel arches on the civic are massive, they make the 19's look tiny

I seems 18" to 19" make no different ride but Eibach springs helps more steady drive I am happy with it Everyone look at my wheels when I am in town

I think i'm almost sold on a type-s diesel rather than the type-r now

If you wouldn't mind, I've got a few questions for you

1. Are the springs specifically designed for the diesel and its heavier engine or are they for the whole range incl. petrol ?
2. Do the wheels catch on rough/bouncy roads ?
3. Where did you get the springs from and what is the part no. ?
4. What size tyre's did you get ?
5. Last question...what is the offset/ET of those wheels ?

Yes Eibach pro springs for diesel not petrol so I will look eibach part no. also offset/et too tomorrow
wheels size is 235x35x19"
I find no problem as the ride seems good steady brilliant corners as you know low profile tyres bit harder thats normal Are you planning doing lke mine ? the wheels looks great

I really wanted a type-r but i do around 25k miles a year so could really do with a diesel again

I was put off by the standard look of the type-s but I love the look of yours.
The ride height and wheel fitment is bang on....that combined with the type-r front grill and a bit of colour coding and i'll be well happy i think

I drive a Skoda Fabia vRS which is chipped up to 180bhp ish so to get similar performance i think a remap will definatley be in order too

Just need to find a dealer that will give me a fair price for mine and a decent price on a new one now

Looks awesome - do you mind me asking where you got the springs and who fitted them? I was just thinking last night how I'd love to lower my Type S, think it adds the finishing touch!
