Skyhook can refer to any of the following:

Skyhook balloon, a type of unmanned balloon used by the United States Navy in the late 1940s and in the 1950s for atmospheric research
Cessna CH-1, a helicopter produced in the early 1960s by the Cessna Aircraft company that was marketed to the civil sector as the "Cessna Skyhook"
Skyhook (boarding), a binding used in skateboarding and related sports
Skyhook (climbing), a hook used in technical climbing
Skyhook (skydiving), a device for quickly extracting reserve parachutes
Skyhook (structure), a hypothetical structure used for transporting material to and from a planet's surface into orbit

An imaginary device used for hanging things from the sky. See snipe hunt.
An explanation of design complexity in the universe that does not build on lower, simpler layers (coined by Daniel Dennett in Darwin's Dangerous Idea)

I think that a long weight is needed to fit the skyhook.

As I was told from my dealer its an auto adjustable suspension,and he order it with skyhook from the factory to use it as a demo car...I'm very sattisfied with the suspension-stabillity of my car but very few things to know how it works...

Not to mention sending them for "A left handed screwdriver" or "A can of tartan paint"(i am from Scotland) but i think the "Sky hooks" was always my favorite
