Thank you.

Yes black is the colour for me. But I would be happy to own a Type R in any colour.

Very nice mate.
Good luck keeping it clean!!
Use a good wax like Collinite on it and it'll clean much easier!

Thank you all for your lovely comments. No longer so clean I'm afraid. I've had it treated with Supagard and was reading the blurb that comes with it and I'm not supposed to wash it for 7 days after treatment. It will just have to stay dirty until next weekend
But i just love my car clean or dirty and driving it makes me

It is very early days but the really obvious things are that the car is much more refined and has that 'big car' feel. The old one felt like a go cart (in a good way) and therefore faster than it actually was. The new car doesn't yet feel like an extension of me but that will come. Needs a good few miles on its clock to really loosen up. The old one really seemed to achieve its very best performance after about 20000 miles!! but felt better to drive after about 1000 miles. So a way to go yet.

This one is much quieter and yet has a truely lovely engine note. I keep saying that it growls at me grrrrr. It feels like it may have a little bit more grunt at lower revs.

The ride is better at speeds above 30mph but if anything a little harsher at lower speeds. This surprised me.
The gear change is not quite as slick but that could be its 'newness' With the old one I liked the fact that the gear stick was mounted in the lower dash. Made it look - how I can I put this - aroused or pleased to see me even

The only thing I can't get quite right yet is the seat position which feels a bit too high.

Can't stop ing and wanting to go for yet another drive

Forgot to say that I'm really pleased I added the red ambient lighting. A lot of money to the dealer again but I do love the way it looks. Had lots of comments from people about my spaceship's red glow.

As a former EP3 owner , I think you are much better qualified to do a comparison between the EP3 and the FN2 than a Bugatti Veyron driver (JC). Please keep on giving us more comparison comments.

I held off buying an EP3 to wait for the FN2.

Thanks for the review R-2. Like Munro says it's interesting to hear the views from both sides. Keep us posted on your thoughts as you get used to your new car. Enjoy!!!

Driven in to work this morning and just had to say - I LOVE MY CAR. If anyone has been put off buying a Type R after watching JC on Top Gear - don't be.

If you want this CTR for every for everyday use its brilliant. It is most definitely an improvement on the old one for general driving (never taken either one round a track).

Took a Golf Gti for a test drive before buying. This CTR handles better IMO (although not pushed it yet) and is so much more exciting. Like the fact that the CTR has a 'real' engine not just a very unsubtle turbo charged one. Gives a better feel to the driver somehow.

Still :mrgr een:ing

Thanks again for comments - really appreciated
