I have a question for a honda´s salesman. I hear in a Spanish Civic´s Forum, Honda don´t will sell in 2008 Civics in Vivid Blue (call in Spain Niza Blue)

This is true??

I love this color and if this news are true i´ll don´t buy the civic.

yes it is true - once the '08 production run starts vivid blue will be no more
I have to say more fool you if you decide not to buy a car because a certain colour is dropped

And you could always look for a used Vivid Blue Type S.

Or get your 2nd choice of colour.

No, I have the same. All the other colours are boring or too sharp to the eye. All manufacterers have blue cars, and I always have a blue car. That's the way it is

Thanks for the info. Fool?? I´m waiting for make money to buy civic and after wait a lot of months, Honda decide non´t made civic in vivid blue, sorry but this car will be my first car buy it how i like it.
And I am very displeased with the commercial policy of Honda
As is the time limit to be able to request it in that color?

A vivid blue Type S is a thing of beauty, and it is a travesty of justice that Honda would even think about discontinuing it.

Sorry it is wrong to buy a car because of its colour
there are many other colour options our first choice of colour was cosmic grey and honda stopped cosmic grey just before we ordered and we wanted the carso we had to go with our second choice galaxy grey

Honda are perfectly entitled to make such changes

I think you don´t understand me or I don´t explain it. I don´t buy a car for his color

I like the civic, but i have spend much time imagine me in my Vivid Blue Civic!!!! Do you understand what means the words, disappointment, deception? I feel this way

Obviously, I know there is other civic's colours, but i like this
Honda can do what they want, but i´m a Bike Honda owner and I defend to them in my forum of Bikes. Maybe i'm disappointment for that (between other reasons).

Brodick, the colour selection for the Type S, and 5 doors is very poor in my opinion.

There are a lot of dark and dull colours in the line-up. I know that greys, browns, beige, blacks and other dark shades are in fashion at the moment, but they don't particularly suit the Civic.
Of the brighter colours, red is VERY bright and the silver looks a bit bean tin (my wife's description of silver cars )

Although it's not very blue, the Blueish Silver is available in the Type S in the UK, and it does look very nice Live It might be worth considering

my first choice was cosmic and the stopped then I was hesitating between blueish and silver... I dunno why I ordered the silver somehow.. and I llike it very much and I still love the blueish!

I haven't seen that colour in Spain...really, in Spain Civic is not a popular car. I have seen only 5 civics. Could be because people can´t wait 3 to 6 months for a new car
