I didn't know they had leather as standard on the 07 models... by that time I had tried the Ibiza FR tdi, the Leon FR tdi... and then decided to get another Civic!

I know how you feel.
I had a RX8(230), if you got 15-20 mpg you were doing well, fuuny thing is you seemed to get the same fuel consumption regardless of driving style.

I do miss my electric leather heated seats with lumber support (never mind i have these in my Navara)

With the CTR I only get 26MPG - that's changing gear at 4k rev's and once in a while going into VTEC. So not much of an improvement. I am filling up every two days.

I also had a 230 RX8, I don't miss the fuel consumption, the general boot and interior space, the 'fingers crossed' will it start when cold cos I forgot the start up rules when I last used it, the oil consumption, the thought of what is gonna break on it today, the depreciation-awful truely awful........I do miss the engine scream at 9000rpm though.
I would not swap my civic for much at the mo.....

Good headlights on dipped beam and the auto dimming rearview mirrow. Oh, and the cabriolet roof! But the Civic is still by far the best car I've ever had.

I just miss my Lotus 7 and the look of horror on my and me mates face, when we opened the crate that was dropped on the drive.( would we EVER be able to build it).
Back then, Colin Chapman wrote out the instructions by hand.
It was never a bird puller, as it would either do their hair in, or burn them with the exhaust on the side, but did we have some fun with it.
The power to weight ratio was fantastic, even with a Ford Anglia 105e engine.

Yes it is a problem - I'm considering changing the bulbs in the Civic. Full beam is still pretty good though.
