First 3000miles
Well 3000 mile of driving plesure, & no warranty work. My 07 Cooper S had the Fuel pump altinator ,clutch, flywheel, washer pump, arm rest, footwell module , 4new speakers&a new amp, and speedo before i had done 3000 miles. I think ill be sticking with Honda.

Was that the new model Mini as well ? They are supposed to be better than the mark 1 Mini !
I have done 5000 miles now and have only had a couple of problems which I will probably try to sort myself (less hassle than taking to the dealers). |

£22000 and Mini don't really sound right in the same sentance do they? My wife's got one so I know they are expensive.

BM may well in the majority of cases be a solid build with good residuals but you get nothing for your dosh.
I was looking in a new series 3 the other day and the dash is just a flat slab with 2 large dials, very uninspiring. I'm now up to 9K miles and have also never been back to the dealers (but I still criticise the i-shift and the suspension). |

In four months I've been back to the dealers twice so far, once because of the windscreen wipers making a clicking sound, which they told me it was the relay and was normal. And the second time, to get a broken trim panel replaced in the rear indicator unit, which came this way from the factory. I think that you should always expect a few small issues on brand new cars.
