New Accord Key

Hi Guys, I have just been on the Honda UK Website and the New Accrod micro site and I spotted that the New Accord is set for a flip key when it hits the streets on the 1st of June this year.

Wonder if this will become avalible for the Civics and other Honda Models?

Spooky, maybe honda have a spy in our camp, or they just realise they have a hi-tech car with a crap design key

Only issue with the key is, it seems to be that lovely Piano Black finish like the dash that wants to scratch to bits

I think it is very well possible that the Accord key will be programmable for the Civic….
Also think that 2009 Civic will have this key.

I REALLY want one of these but I am in Australia.

I note that it says free postage. I wouldn't expect free postage to the colonies, but Holdcroft quoted me £9.50 for a £6.99 Keyring!

Hoping you or someone else here can help out.

PS: I have submitted a question to the seller on ebay as well...

OK, now I'm confused...

You just said that the listing is you but to let you know how I go with the seller? Aren't you the seller?

Although I note that the item location seems to be Hong Kong. And the seller emailed me back via ebay telling me that he would invite me to the auction as it's currently EU only.

He also said that shipping will still be free.... happy days...

-H

OK... just re-read you original post and noted that you said "bought one" so it's obviously not your listing All good. Just waiting for him to update the auction so I can place an order.

Ordered and paid for.

The ebay seller was very helpful...

Can't wait to get it... My 2 housemates have an Astra SRI and a Mazda SP23. The Type-R owns both of them but they both have flip keys and they both keep making the point that I don’t.

Now I've fixed that we can go back to discussing how much better than their cars the CTR is.

I think Sandozer is saying that he posted the link to e-bay, not that he is the person selling the items on e-bay.

Sorry to confuse you mate..! If you had no joy with the seller on posting the key to Oz, could have got one on your behalf..
