Just wondering if someone could post a pic showing what the mudguards look like on the Type s.

Thanks

£100 is that for a full set of 4? seems a bit steep

i know when i enquired about a front set they said they were £34 from my dealer.

Yes that is for 4, my post was slightly misleading as the brochure does show a picture but it's hard to tell what mudguard actually is in the picture or how it looks on the car

Pic of the rear mudflaps.

And a not quite so clear one of the fronts (they are very similar, but couldn't find a better picture)

£100 per set of four is the right price, although the dealer included mine for free as part of the overall deal.

Total waste of money. The heavy side skirts and the way the arch is designed means I dont have anything like the same issue with mug being flung up compared with my old 307. I seriously suggest you dont bother and see how you find things once you get the car. Better spend your money on parking sensors.

I get a lot of tar spots behind the wheels - do the mud flaps help to stop this. They look as if they would help a lot.

They probably do - not had any problems with tar spots on the lower half of the sides of the car.

I mentioned this in an earlier discussion about the mudflaps - where the wheelarches curves inwards at the bottom, before flaring out on the side skirts, the mudflaps fill in this gap, so do prevent spray up the sides a little. Not going to stop all the spray as it some goes round the sides, but I think it helps a little.

Not sure what they would look like on an R - Might need colour coded ? They blend in quite well with the grey skirts on my S

And they're not a waste of money if you don't pay for them.

not a total waste, as it stops the sound of your car geting pebble dashed from all the stones and constent cleaning off the road. ive had my type s gt for 3 weeks and already had a stone chip to the side of the car.
fitted the flaps and very happy with the result

Not a total waste of money as they do help alot with mud and tar spots.
They also blend in nicely with the trim.
I bought mine from Holcroft for around £50 and fitted them myself in about 30 mins.
Also because they are so small you should'nt have any problems with speed bumps and kerbs.

You can see em on my shots (Finaly got round to taking some shots) as I've not colour coded them yet....

And I might not, because I quite like the contrast of colour.
