Im a racing driver
well still breaking the car in, just past 500 miles today, loads of nice roads giving her good blasts of power but not high revs, letting the car slow under its own engine load etc. Anyway
I just couldnt help it, just come off a roundabout and took the local town bypass and urge was just too much. Have the say the engine is feeling really sweet and free revving too. Foot to the floor, vrrooooom. Remember seeing them rev lights come on to the 2nd set, i was like If only wifey looked to her right she would have seen the most cheekiest of smiles i have every had. The golf gti was/is a great car but it didnt make me smile like this thing does. Would love to be outside and hear one just as the vtec kicks in, cause inside it sounds awesome. *excitement over* |

Mine didnt rattle until a few weeks back and I have had it 18 months in fact the longer I have it the more noises it makes - bloody thing.
Anyway back to the topic - when my car goes that is another thing I am definately going to miss that feeling as the car "flies" with such ease when you put your foot down, that is one thing I can not complain about with the civic it does have a fantastic engine. |

Yes I love the VTEC sound, the car drives completely different when you drive it hard, it wakes up and flys! Its like its been poke with a hot poker!

Well, TypeR is for sure a devil
My old Civic is VTI (160HP), and when I drive it.. well, it just begs to scream and be pushed hard in VTEC, all way to 8200rpm It is jast hard not to drive fast. On the other hand.. with new Civic, I feel fine just cruising slowly around |

Mine's only a 1.8 and I find it very hard to resist flooring it around the place, although having the fuel consumption view on in the trip computer does help! If I had a Type-R I imagine I would have lost my licence by now
