cigarette lighter

hi people need some help been using a road angel with the consertina cable that plugs into the cigarette lighter and that been fine. but lately i orderd a new straight cabel from road angel.so i can tidy up the wire but when i pluged it in it didnt work. so i tryed my old cable and that didnt work. so i went to the power outlet in the boot tryed my old cable and it worked ok. plugged the new one in then that did not work. so whati think has happend its blown the fuse for them both. so i need to findout were the fuse is for them. dosent say anything about the cigarette lighter fuse in the book only the one in the boot. can someone tell me were to find this if poss tx by the way tryed the new cable with the road angel on my sons corsa and it worked fine !!!!

Did you try the old cable again in your car after your tried the new cable?

Did you try the cigarette lighter (or some other product?)

If it is blowing a fuse repeatedly, ask yourself why.

Could it be poor connection between the cable and car socket?

Have a look at fuse no 29 (20A) in the under-dash fuse box.

hi Did try the old cable again in your car after the new cable got nothing have tried a dvd player that didnt work ether. will check that fuse tommorow tx

If it is the fuse, there may be an intermittent short in your new cable.
