POWER AND RIDE

Have only had the car 6 days and first impressions as follows:-

Power is very good and would put it in front of a previous car (Ford Puma). Difference is acceleration_ Civic feels quicker, although Puma would accelerate quickly from 20mph in 5th, wheras civic will stall. DBW is very impressive and ride is similar to Puma. Have not had chance to compare top speeds (can't really as never had opportunity to do this on either). Initial impressions (probably due to 4 year gap) is that New Civic is far more refined and economical without sacrificing power and ride. Without commenting on cosmetics, initially I am very impressed( which based on test drive was why I purchased). Long term remains to be seen - but currently- drive the long way round to everywhere, must be a god sign.
Have only done approx. 250 miles in a week(urban) ( average mpg=53.0) which I am happy with.

Cheers Rog - Puma was a pretty well regarded car in its time. Keep on enjoying the Civic.

Sorry, have you managed to get any pics yet ?
