I haven't found detailed statistics yet for poland but Honda as a whole has increased over 30%.
The Civic is growing in popularity and I see more and more on the roads now. |

I think that Honda south-europe is implementing a new strategy, and is getting good results with that.
We will see what's the future will be like with the new Accord and the new Jazz coming this year. In a overall survey of the fiabilty of cars in south Europe (24 937 owners of 30 most representatives brands in Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain - 85% men average age of 54 answered to the survey) made by a French magazine called "Que Choisir" (February 2008 issue) give in the top 5 of the most reliable brands : 1 Mazda with 96.8% 2 Toyota with 96.3% 3 Honda with 95.2% 4 Suzuki with 93.7% 5 BMW with 93.7% 10 Ford with 91.2% 13 Skoda with 90.4% 14 Citroen with 90.4% 15 Audi with 90.3% 17 Mercedes with 89.8% 18 Rover with 89.5% 19 Volkswagen with 89.4% 21 Opel with 88.9% 22 Peugeot with 88.9% 23 Alfa Romeo with 88.6% 24 SEATwith 88.4% 25 FIAT with 88.4% 28 Renault with 86.8% These figures reflects the brakedown rates all models included per brand : so for Honda the brakedown rate is 4.8%. Then they do the analysis per models/Year of issue For Mini cars : the three first are the various model of the Yaris, and N° 4 is the Honda Jazz. For Compact car, four of the three first places are trusted by Toyota with the Prius in N° 1 and various corrola in N° 2-3 and 5, N° 4 is the Astra 1700 D released since january 2004. There are no Civic in the survey. The last one is the Renault Mégane 1900D released between March 1999 and August 2000 with a failure rate of 78.68% ! The Medium class is dominated by teh german with in N° 1 the Audi A4 (97.26%) then Skoda with the octavia and surprise the Renault Laguna 1900D released since March 2005 is N° 3 ! The Honda Accord is N° 12 with the 2.2D released between 3/2003 and 1/2006. And surprise, the worst one are ... the Renault Laguna 1900 D (4/1998-12/2000) and 1600 fuel (1/2001-2/2005) 46.6% of the problems have an Electronic or an Electrical origin ! |

46.6% of the problems have an Electronic or an Electrical origin ![/quote] You're right not be surprised! Renault are absolutely horrendous pieces of dirt. Only good for lighting a fire! Why does anybody buy them? I know some people who made the error of buying the last model Laguna and everything you can imagine has gone wrong....especially electrics! Windows going up and down on their own, fault lights flashing like a christmas tree, shuddering like the car is having a heart attack while ticking over etc. DIRT! But they just keep going back for more! Why? Maybe other dealers wont take them in as trades? |
