black altimos?

Saw a NHB today (going in the other direction, or I would have chased them!)

With what appeared to be black altimos?

I thought they were only available in silver?

Looked good though!

People could always replicate this by not washing their alloys and letting the brake dust cake in !!!!!!

I have gun metal standard 17's within 5 days of washing the car, within 2 weeks I have black wheels too. Unless someone has had the powder coated or resprayed.

I have had my diesel one for a week, and had to give the wheels a good wash.

Saying thet, the petrol one was the same.

Decided to try waxing them today to see if it helps.

Will keep you informed

I guess it could well have been brake dust

But if it was, I wouldn't be bothering to wash them - looked great
