Little features I'd like to see on a Civic...

1. Auto lights with auto wipers. For example if the wipers go into fast mode then the headlights automatically come on.

2. Final wiper sweep. After you've used the washer jets, the wipers do one last sweep to get rid of any water left on the screen.

3. Auto-parking wipers. When you take the key out of the ignition the wipers should park instead of sticking where they are.

4. Auto-dimming rear view mirror.

5. Coming home lights.

6. Folding mirrors on arming / disarming via remote key.

7. Decent lumbar supports in the seats.

8. Height adjustable passenger seat.

9. Button on the remote key to just pop open the boot.

10. Auto sunblind on panoramic roof.

11. Air vents in the rear, i.e. in the rear of the armrest assembly.

12. Some factory fitted noise deadening in the doors.

13. Flip keys please!

14. Illuminated footwell as standard.

15. Choice of audible blip on arm / disarm of locking.

We could hide them behind the grill or if you have no front fog lamps behind there, perfect place as no-one would suspect it. Got on motorway yesterday and no joke it was empty apart from me and another car. They were in the middle lane all the way for about 10 miles and thats when i lost sight of them in my rear view.

i would agree with some but i think your being a bit pedantic on most!

9. Button on the remote key to just pop open the boot.
thats just lazy!

10. Auto sunblind on panoramic roof.
i like the sun shining through the glass roof! shorly that is the point of it! if it shut when the sun came out there would be no point in it being there!

12. Some factory fitted noise deadening in the doors.
its not bad! i doubt any other manufacturer is much better

14. Illuminated footwell as standard.
im glad they are an extra, i dont like them

How about making it mandatory for dealers to offer top notch service!

No chance.

Don't even get a decent service at the local church anymore!

......but you didn't even mention the rear anti rain thingys.

Like the idea of the 'boot/tailgate' button - no.9.

Often arrived at Millie's rear end with a handfull of supplies, that button would definitely help there.

Don't worry.

The worst words in the Engish language really are,

"'We have to talk'
or
'Who's bra is this?"

On my old MG ZR the ONLY way to open the boot was by pressing a button on the key! And I HATED it!! lol

I much prefer manually opening the boot!

Why does everyone stress out about non-flip keys? I actually like having a key, that is just that, a key!

A flip key is just something else that will eventually break and you will complain to Honda about!
