The Honda Civic R type did well in the last Monte Carlo Rally. N°19 overall and n° 3 in her class ... and no surprise Sebastien Loeb win again

2.2 i-ctdi ... Why not but in the 24H of Spa Francorchan.... The R type is made for Rally

Any informations somewhere about technical datas about this Type R and this category ?
What is allowed to be modified ?

Most things can be modified. It's in GroupA (Class A7 is the 2000cc class) of FIA Appendix J. Even GroupN that was at one time very close to an absolutely standard car now allows a lot of modifications. The exact regulations can be found on the FIA site.
I was rallying at the time the Honda Civic made its debut in rallying. I can recall the Norweigian Arne Garvic using a Civic in the Group1 1300cc class on the RAC Rally in 1976.

When looking at JAS documentation, I ask again "why don't Honda sell a WHITE Civic ?"
Color choice is so poor, and the white one looks great !

Maybe they will keep that color for a special and limited production of a "Race" type R ?
