Wouldn't be much of a "pursuit" either way.

Well... the Jazz could catch up while the other car is stopping in petrol stations!

What in Scotland???? the jazz would just be leaving Kent!!!!

Anyway, who thinks we should write to top gear? Aston versus a train, pah nothing to a Jazz versus an Accord type R in a "high" speed pursuit.

I was going to write into TG and say I would race JC in any supercar he chooses the length of Germany, and I was going to choose a Vectra Diesel (150hp) (had to be a Vectra to be his pet hate and has a big fuel tank!!!) and I would beat him!!!

Could chose a Civic if it had a bigger fuel tank!!

I would make more time in reduced fuel stops than he could at 170mph as there is so little of Germany you can get above 130mph

lol! But - in ANY diesel at 130mph you're likely to get about 25-30mpg!!

Suppose thats better than the 8mpg JC will be getting - as I bet he chooses the Veyron!

If he chose his GT40, he'd have to stop to get it repaired as often as he refuelled it.

France "gendarmerie" uses Imprezas for overspeed interceptions:

I saw them a number of times already, either patrolling or "sniping" with a laser radar gun (which looks like some FAMAS gun somehow) through the window.

So unless the Veron has over a 30 gallon tank Economy will win over speed. The green party will be happy, the ultimate Tortose vs the Hare.
