Drilled Pedals On An SE???

Hi
Does anyone know if drilled pedals come as standard on an SE? From the Honda site if you build a car it doesnt say in the text but if you look at the internal pic it clearly shows ally drilled pedals. Also when I went to see an SE at the dealers when he showed me, what he said was an SE, it also had drilled pedals.
I have my SE on order and really would like the pedals.

On the Honda, 'build a car' section you will see that the 'Drilled Pedals' pops up as standard on the ES but not on the SE. Just hover your mouse between ES and SE models once you have picked Civic as the car of choice.

But if you select the SE then view the interor it shows the pedals, I wont be happy, as I say even the dealer showed me an SE at that had them in

Also I have just discovered, in the build a car section once you've chosen the model and colour then goto the section where it say fact file / spec / equipment, click on equipment and there they are again listed under Comfort And Convinence

They are an Extra on most 5dr models I believe, standard on the R & S though.

Thats why I said 'most' (the 1.4, and basic 1.8/2.2's have them as extra's the better specced ones they come with I believe).

Right, I see what you mean I checked the 1.4 SE and that also showed what appeared to be drilled pedals. A bit like the ads where it is the 'invisible' print that tells you all the options the pictured car has and the big quoted price does not.

Looks like they were rather cavalier with the pictures.

It looks like the only way to solve this is to go to the dealer and pin him to the ground for an answer and get it in writing !

My SE 2.2 does and I didn't have to pay extra. That was back in Sep 07.

Well, the gods appear to have smiled and saved us, Honda are bit slapdash with their photo's sometimes (as are most car makers), adding extras and thing like the new Twingo I believe 7,995 in the add (or whatever), then read the small print car pictured 12,999 (or whatever), auto gear box bigger engine, all the bells and whistles, bit misleading really.

Not a lot, but then, there's the holes. They don't come cheap

Glad you got a definitive answer.

Oh yeah, I forgot the holes, I reckon 1 big hole would be much cheaper than all those little ones

Surely if there are holes, you are getting less material, so it should be cheaper.

Hi Madslug, I own a 1.8 SE & I can confirm that it does have drilled pedals but not a drilled footrest. I believe the only model that does not have drilled pedals is the 1.4 SE.

Not sure if this applies to all models but on my SE the pedals are chrome with holes but the holes are filled with black rubber studs for grip I guess.

Also there is a foot rest with the same studs but it is all black.
