Who's been getting confused?

I was just looking at the handbrake survey and i was very intrigued to see the results from questions 5 & 6.

It appears from question 5 that 1231 civics have never experienced handbrake failure:

5. [*] Has your handbrake ever failed?
It has never failed- 1231

79.68% The lever has sprung to the off position- 202

13.07% The car has moved with the handbrake on- 112

7.25% Total Answers- 1545
But on question 6, 54 people changed their minds and decided that their handbrake had failed!

6. [*] Did the car move away in an uncontrolled fashion as a result of the handbrake failure?
Not applicable (it has never failed)- 1167

75.53% Yes- 117

7.57% No- 261

16.89% Total Answers- 1545

This is 3,5% of the answers.
Could be input mistake.

possibly they answered 'no' instead of 'not applicable'

although in 5), 112 said 'moved with handbrake on', and by 6) "move away in an uncontrolled fashion as a result of the handbrake failure" had gone up to 117...

I doubt if I'm alone on here.

......but even at 3.5% inaccuracy, it seems to be better than any poll taken before any election!
