body colour
hi, im buying a new civic type s in the next couple of weeks and want it in red but dont like the black trim going around the bottom of the car i wouldnt mind it so much if it was just on the front and rear but dont like the look of it on the sides. Is there any options where it is painted the same colour as the cars body?nthanks, dan.

Yes, commonly known as colour coding.
SOME Honda dealers do this, but any good auto paint shop can also help. Adding Type R parts to a non-R car - Civinfo Wiki Colour coding Colour coding existing trims Painting arches etc Last edited by FWH; 9th March 2008 at 16:13. |

Try looking around for a local spray shop, I'm sure they could come to a more satisfying agreement, and if they've been around a while you could get a good job done. Try your 'Yellow Pages' .....must admit I do like that 'colour coding'. Unfortunately not for Millie though. You've just gotta go for Milano. ......then you can get that touch up stuff from Halfords! "We used to have lots of questions to which there were no answers. Now, with computers, there are lots of answers to which we haven't even yet thought up the questions!" |
