Gale Force Winds... What a day to pick up my new Civic 1.8 EX in Royal Blue?

Just picked it up this evening and a day earlier than expected. 2008 model with 2 CD's for the SatNav... Well impressed so far and well take the rest of the week off from tomorrow night to get used to all the toys...

Will post some pics once the weather has improved...

Cheers,

Bob...

Welcome Bob H not the best of days to pick up your new car but a very exciting one for that. I am sure you will be pleased and love your new spaceship as most of us do on here. Don't forget to order your sticker and become a supporter - a small and much appreciated investment for the invaluable information here. You will also find this site can be very addictive

Hi Lippy - that would be nice I'll keep a look out - yet to see another civinfo stickered civic. A sticker and a mad woman that could be overwhelming

I've been on the lookout for other 'stickered' Civics for over a year now and I've spotted the grand total of ......................

Mind you - I still don't see Civics that often apart from on transporters on the M25 heading to the docks.

Had a chuckle to myself that you got the Sat Nav and live on Jersey,it only has an area of 45 sq miles!! Your sense of direction is not that bad is it!!!!
Why the 2 CD`s as well? You could probably circumnavigate the island with just the one!!!
Enjoy the car.

Having lived on Jersey, in my past working life for 3 years, I have to say that with the lack of some signposts it can be more difficult than you would think to find some addresses. This would be after you have negotiated some of the narrow stone wall lined roads which would put the Civic's expensive wing mirrors at risk.

If I only had a fiver every time I heard that old chestnut!!

We are quite modern in Jersey, even have a ferry to take the car off the rock, do you see where I'm coming from?

Cheers,
