Civic interior

Been looking at some cabriolets over the weekend for my partener's new (nearly new) car.Getting back in the Type S what immediately stands out is the high quality look and feel of the dash and interior compared to what we had seen. For certain, the Civic is a very pleasent and comfortable place to be

It is def leaps and bounds above any other hatch out there. Every car i have been looking at is a big let down interiorwise. Look at the seat leon, cheap cheap plastic, same with the astra sports hatch.

Best way to appriciate the car you have is to drive something worse. I get a Fiat Punto as a rental car sometimes. That does the trick...

Had a 1.7 diesel Astra as a hire car in France recently. It was awful and sooo slow. Had to keep it for a whole week

When i got back into my 'R' at the airport i shot off like a bat out of hell!! I'd got so used to driving the Astra with a heavy foot i'd forgotten how quick my car was. And the interior really is from another planet.

I appreciate my car even more now

Yes I drove one for a week recently.

The seats were extremely uncomfortable. They were both narrow and had hard sports sides that made it impossible to sit properly.

Add to this the net curtains across the front windscreen (Ford call it a heated window) which sparkles oncoming headlights and it is a diabolical car to drive. Ford used to be famous for its comfy seats but not any more.

The only good thing was the auto box which was as smooth as anything could be.
