Question What's your Average Speed?

Just wondered what average speed your Civic computer is showing?

Here in Jersey I get a wonderful 18MPH and taking the car to France the other day took it up to only 28MPH (had reset the computer) with 180 miles covered broken down to 2/3's motorway driving at a fairly constant 69 MPH (110KPH speed limit with cruse control on) and 1/3 urban driving.

Would be interesting to know what others are getting...

Cheers,

Bob...

Mine is on 30mph, but I never bother resetting it. Why didn't they put it on trip B as well and why do you have to actually be on the average speed display to reset it.

That must be an improvement on the new cars, on mine it only resets with trip A and you have to actually be on the average speed display to reset.

Mine says 36KPH - has done since I got it 3 weeks ago. Either I am the most consistent driver EVER, or its stuck....

Checked mine today. 25 mph. That comes from a lot of short trips to work and back, I guess. So the overall fuel consumption of 37 mpg is pretty good for a petrol, I reckon, 42 mpg so far on 210 miles of this tank so it can go up a lot with decent runs. Car at 1500 miles now and the economy starting to improve although I suspect it will take a while for the 25 mph figure to go up !!

33km/h - which is not bad considering I live in a city!
