speedo suddenly stopped working after only a few days

hi can anyone tell me where the speedo cable is in the engine bay as mine has stopped working and dealer cant look at it until may 27th thanks

that is crap that they can't fit you in for something as important as er.... a speedo not working!

ask them for a loan car till repaired as driving without speedo is probably breaking some law

Yea, I think that is actually bad service to be honest. The speedo is a very important instrument and having to wait for 23 days to get it sorted is not good. A new dealer trip I think!

That is very poor very very poor
do as the others say get it to another dealer asap
any dealer should provide you with a courtesy car if they are unable to
do anything without parts

It is illegal to drive your car without a functioning Speedometer, unlss it has just occurred or you are taking it to a garage.

I would get the dealer to sign a confession that they cannot do it straight away and that they are happy to let you drive off with what is very likely an illegal car.

That should get a reaction.

And then state that you are going to get further advice on the Civiic forum mentioning their name - which was ?
