Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place....we have recently bought a 55 civic - does the glass on the car have any UV reduction built in? MGs & Rovers I've owned previously have Pilkington Optikool glass which is very effective at reducing UV penetration into the car.

As far as i'm aware, ALL modern day cars have some form of heat shielding/UV protection built in.

Indeed, hence why its a bit difficult to have the front windows tinted as they already have a tint in the windows to block UV light.
