If "Er Indoors" can keep her hands off the plastic cards that is.
I thoroughly recommend it!

Apart from it costing £25 more, I don't think my Dad would approve of me moving the M3 out of the garage and onto the drive for my CTR!

But there is a myth that parking in the garage makes insurance cheaper and thats not always the case but people just don't check.
They said that if I'm at home then I am in my 'normal' location so should be in garage. They were a rubbish company and after many problems I ditched them after 6 mths when I bought a new car!

It's where it's normally parked overnight, so if you're away at a mates then no problem with a claim excess.

We had to store some items in our garage and it meant leaving a car parked on the drive a couple of nights so I told the insurers and they said it would be no problem for a couple of nights, if it was long term then they may have increased my premium.

As I would expect.

I don't recall ever parking my car in a garage

Though in my defense, the only houses I've owned that had a garage also had a drive, and I parked on that

And I should point out that my garages weren't full of junk, and I wasn't just being lazy - there were bikes in there

Although, looking back, one of them did actually qualify as junk... LOL

I read on a forum (can't remember which one) a comedians quote.

Something along the lines of 'Why do british people keep £500 of junk in the garage and a £20000 car on the drive!'

Just in case anyone didn't know what my reference to 'threshold strip' was, this is it in-situ.

I used two off-cuts (about 300mm long) and stuck them to the floor so that they acted as a tyre stop. They're not too high so don't present a problem and do not protrude from under the car when parked to cause tripping-up.
