Coincidence

I just after left my Type-S in a body shop too to get colour coded this morning! Mines is silver so trim is more noticeable, picking up tomorrow afternoon!

Guy said usually about a day, but I said I would leave it with him for two incase he needed more time. I'll be at work anyway so makes no difference to me! What about you? How much were you quoted if you don't mind me asking? First place I went to quoted £500 but the place is doing it for £300

Long Time

Four days does seem a long time although I know nothing about painting cars. Don't know why it would take so long. He said he would remove trim, prep it, spray it, let it dry overnight and fit it next day. Will see if it goes this smoothly!

Suppose the telling will be how good the finish is....

Very nice! It's looking well!!
I wonder how black front & rear splitters would look against the silver on the Type-R/S?

Holdcroft's Ebay shop has pictures of the black splitters on a silver Type R

Front
2007/08 Civic Type'R Front Skirt Upgrade *All Colours* on eBay, also, Honda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 30-May-08 20:28:58 BST)

Back
2007/08 Civic Type'R Rear Skirt Upgrade *All Colours* on eBay, also, Honda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 06-Jun-08 18:12:24 BST)

I'm not keen on the upgraded splitters, if the wheelarches & skirts haven't been colour coded. If I had the inclination (and the money) I would get mine colour coded silver, and put the black splitters like the above on.

However, probably talking about £1,000 plus, so definitely won't be happening

Ohh that looks very nice!
Yeh like you said it contrasts well with the colour coded trim! Pity they wouldn't fit the 5-door
