I think you will find it varies between countries, so no guarantee that this is applicable outside the UK.

in the UK, a full tank is included in the " ON THE ROAD " price for brand new cars.

do you have something similar in Spain? your dealer would let you know.

I am also guessing you mean when you collect the car not when you hand over the car, as that sounds like you are trading in and think your old car should have a full tank when selling to the dealer which is a no.

I would check with the dealer or the order form may advise you. Mines did as my dealer wrote it on it.

As FWH says, the ' on the road' costs and conditions will vary from country to country.

In Finland the delivery conditions for new cars include a full tank of fuel. It is not "free" though as we have to pay €600 standard charge for delivery (actually it is not "delivered" only pick up from the dealer). Apparently the "delivery" charge includes the "pre-delivery" checks, rubber mats, a quick clean & polish, and a full tank.
Actually a really big rip-off in my opinion, but there is no room for negotiations here as every dealer is the same. Also the prices really cannot be negotiated.

In Poland you don't get the full tank of petrol either, so I think it varies between country to country.

When I got my car I got just enough petrol to get to the petrol station - and I mean just enough .

How much has everyone paid for delivery of their new civics?

Only new cars, as used cars can vary a lot, although I have also had a full tank of fuel with the used cars I have bought before.

£400 - this included - 12 months road fund license, full tank of fuel, mud flaps, mats (not the rubber ones), license plates, supagard (inside and out) and according to the dealer 3 years breakdown assistance but I think this is a Honda thing.

They give you a tank full , but when its at the dealers for anything they use plenty. My fuel consumption goes way south after a trip to the dealers.

In France, stealers will charge you a fee to "put the car on the road".
It's expensive : circa 700€.
You get registration (amount 440€) & plates, mats, fuel fill, 1 litre of oil, the colour pen.
I negotiated a 6% cut on the car price & I ended with no mats, no oil, a half full tank

Obviously, the stealer does whatever he wants !
It's a pain there's only one in Lyon, the car is great, but the dealership s**ks, and I'm not prepared to fare 80km to the next one.

In Hungary the cost is ~470 Euro . You can find differences in the cost between dealers.
But this price doesn't include full tank petrol, just a little bit (maybe enough to go to the first petrol station).
