Pigeon Woes!!

On the M621 nr showcase, testing my car out after the ecu map and wham ...... a bloody pigeon flew accross the motorway!

Going to have to call chipsaway in the morning

Unless anyone can suggest anything else?

At least he got what was coming to him.

I would suggest that you get a shotgun and shoot at every pigeon you see. When you are at it, you can take a shot at all the seagulls crapping all over the cars at my parking too.

I think the phrase "testing ecu map" kinda puts pay to that theory sushi I bloody hate pigeons anyway... they scare all the birds out of my garden when they are nibbling on my nuts....

Had a few quotes and nobody wants to fix it £200 to fill in as "too deep".

Got someone coming monday hopefully who can fix it.

Much sympathy ! ...

I've never hit a Pigeon, but like one other response in here, I did once hit a Pheasant (fortunately, not in my 'Honda Palindrome') ...

Result ? - Pheasant wasn't pleasant (mince'n'feathers) - and the leading edge of the car's bonnet was seriously whacked (new bonnet !) ...

Still, what can you expect, when a Pheasant doing 110 mph hits a car doing 20 mph ?
