Pigeon Woes!!

On the M621 nr showcase, testing my car out after the ecu map and wham ...... a bloody pigeon flew accross the motorway!

Going to have to call chipsaway in the morning

Unless anyone can suggest anything else?

Thats unlucky,hope they sort it for you. Only good thing is ONE less pigeon.

At least he got what was coming to him.

I would suggest that you get a shotgun and shoot at every pigeon you see. When you are at it, you can take a shot at all the seagulls crapping all over the cars at my parking too.

I hit a kamikaze pheasant a couple of weeks ago. There was no damage to the car but the pheasant was definetly an ex pheasant......

I was in sunny Bridlington the other week and if yoy think pidgeon crap is bad my collegies Range Rover was hit by seagull Crap !!!! It''s like being hit with a Atom bomb

Had a few quotes and nobody wants to fix it £200 to fill in as "too deep".

Got someone coming monday hopefully who can fix it.

Much sympathy ! ...

I've never hit a Pigeon, but like one other response in here, I did once hit a Pheasant (fortunately, not in my 'Honda Palindrome') ...

Result ? - Pheasant wasn't pleasant (mince'n'feathers) - and the leading edge of the car's bonnet was seriously whacked (new bonnet !) ...

Still, what can you expect, when a Pheasant doing 110 mph hits a car doing 20 mph ?
