Smile Binnacle screen replaced.

Hi, message to PJR...had the blue tinted screen replaced by my dealer today and as you stated only took an hour.
When i passed on your comments that the screen can replaced without a complete new tach etc pod and also passed on the part number there wasnt much they could say, especially when i told them that i got the info from civinfo forum !!!!All was done under warranty and without scratching.
They also fixed my washers which have never worked properly..they found a pipe was kinked so stopping flow to the jets...so now i can see where im going!!!!
Also i have just used the Collinite wax polish...and i have to say it went on very easily and its the best shine ive ever had...so thanks guys...a tip worth while following and a product i would never have found if it wasnt for this forum.
The Honda dealers as you say are well aware of this site and they are starting to take some real notice when its mentioned..where as before it was just annoying to them. If only they would come up with a decent radio...the dealers know its rubbish and i have asked if they would have a good go at Honda uk to sort the reception problem out....eh...maybe a proper aereal would help.I have been offered the latest down load..when they get the discs in..not sure if it will improve things...anyone had this...?
Keep up the good works guys...Honda are starting to wake up..
By the way..my dealer is Collins Honda East sussex...and they are a very good dealer, credit where its due...Barneybee.

Glad you got it all sorted out.

I got told the same nonsense, that the screen & revcounter/display was one part - Until I showed them the part number which was just the screen.
