Many times - not recently though.

I also got the manual out of the car a week before I collected it so I could understand the controls early.

Certainly a thick tome with loads of info that takes quite a few sessions to learn it.

I actually sat down and read the manual this time, I don't really know why as everything is pretty much instinctive anyway. It wasn't what you could call interesting, but it was good to be sure on somethings.

Never done it before - not something I hope to make a habit of, though

When you say 'read' do you mean actually read it like a book or just refer to it? The bloody thing is about 600 pages long last time I checked?! I mainly stuck to reading the index for entertaining references such as 'how to park at altitude... over things that burn'.....an every day scenario then!

Always take the manual to bed for a good read. I would take the car as well but the Wife won`t let me

But then dont forget I get sent info about it all the time and get sent on day long courses about new cars when they get released, most of which covers the operation of any 'new' bits.

I read the bits I thought were important during the first few weeks of ownership, and go back to it now when I need to clarify anything.

Well I don't expect anyone has sat down and read every word, or the whole thing cover to cover, but I refer to it all the time myself! lol Anyway, what I was getting at was how many people don't read the manual and then post on here things like "how do I turn the A/C on".

I still think Honda should produce a .PDF version so I don't have to go out to the car to check something.
