Civic advert in cinemas

Went to see Mission Impossible III last night and instead of the usual barrage of stupid adverts before the trailers/movie they showed this huge "making of the Civic advert", how they got the choir together, how they recorded sounds of everything on the Civic etc... was really good, it was on for at least 10 minutes I think, then at the end of it they show the final FULL version of the Civic advert which sounded fantastic in the cinema!

You could hear everyone at the end commenting on how much that advertising must have cost to nuke out all the other usual cinema adverts!!!

I just sat there with a big grin on my face knowing I had one of those lovely cars parked outside the cinema

I went to see the MI:3 last week, no such luck for me ,just the normal ads and trailers

I wonder if they show that here as well. Propably not, since there's been virtually no ad campaign whatsoever here. There's been no need for one! They have no cars to sell this year anyway, so they'll propably advertise some time later this year.

Did the ad make it worth seeing the film? With Tom Cruise being in it and all...

I guess the Odeon/UCI chain are not doing it as went on Friday and no such ad.

Cineworld in Middlesbrough, looks like the Cineworld chain with it maybe? (used to be UGC Cinemas).

Just saw DaVinci Code last night. No Civic advert! I wasn't holding my breath though. They aren't advertising on tv either. Or in any other media for that matter.

They did however show an advert for the new Seat Leon! Very annoying.
