Unhappy Truck 1 Civic 0

While Mrs civicsport was driving to work this morning a man in a truck decided he wanted the same piece of road and has restyled the offside of my nice new car, I AM NOT A HAPPY BUNNY, But at least he has accepted complete responsibility.

Very sorry to see the pics. Spoilt the polish a bit and I don't think the side protectors would have helped. Anyway, nobody hurt and the "other" driver owned up.

OMG!

glad Mrs Civicsport is ok - at least the civic can be fixed

might take a while by the look of it though

edit - from the pics, might have been 'lucky'* and get away with just 2 new doors, new alloy and plastic trim?
Looks like he just missed the main body panel behind the door - and the one underneath them too?

* for a given value of 'lucky' obviously

I would be an Incandescent Bunny, especially if your delivery time was/is anything like mine...

I trust Mrs. Civicsport is fully OK (bunch of flowers, a little massage, soft music, DO NOT lay into her for wrecking your car!), car can be repaired!

Ow! Really sorry to see those pics mate As long as she's okay that's the main thing, as said above, the car can be repaired.

Btw, it wasn't that truck drivers fault that the A19 tees flyover was so damn slow this morning was it?

Elfa7, you can edit your posts!

I am really sorry about your car. At least everybody is OK, albeit rather shaken up. I hope everything gets sorted swiftly.

Unfortunatly the panel behind the rear door has been pushed back, the rear door/panel gap is too tight, the rear door doesn`t shut properly and the mrs. said it didn`t feel right when driving to the garage so possibly some damage to the rear subframe/axle. The insurance assessor is giving the car an inspection tomorrow so I will find out then. Meanwhile we have a Mondeo tdci Ghia to drive about in .
